Moscow – Lamoda has temporarily changed its logo on it’s e-commerce website, urging customers to take care of themselves and stay at home.
Along with the logo chnage, Lamoda has also launched a special landing page, which contains information about the measures that the company is taking to help ensure the safety and comfort of its customers and employees. Among them is the contactless delivery option available in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. For this delivery method, options are available with a try-on at delivery (sales representative waits 15 minutes outside the door) and without. In addition, Lamoda has strengthened the precautionary measures in its warehouse: the premises are disinfected daily, and all employees work in disposable masks and gloves, and their health is monitored by a doctor. Also, more than 2,000 employees have switched to working from home, including all 900 call centre employees.
Further emphasizing the importance of self-isolation, Lamoda is also offering customers to shop without leaving their home, even with old prices for products from new collections.
Lamoda has also launched an online space to help keep customers entertained at home: including live broadcasts with bloggers and interesting articles on the website.
Julia Nikitina, Chief Digital Officer at Lamoda said: “We understand that staying at home now is not only taking care of ourselves, but also of those around us. By changing the logo, we decided to catch our customers’ attention and recall the importance of the current security measures. And at Lamoda, we will play our part in making your stay at home more enjoyable.”
Earlier in March 2019, for the first time in seven years, the company conducted a large-scale rebranding with a logo change, and the Pike design bureau worked on it together with the Lamoda team. In October last year, Lamoda changed it for one day to a version manually written by children with cerebral palsy, as part of Dobroshift, a large-scale charity flash mob.
