Lamoda Expands Offering of Eco-Friendly Brands With Launch of Patagonia

Moscow: Lamoda, the leading online fashion & lifestyle destination in the CIS, has expanded the eco-friendly brands listed on its platform. From June, Patagonia, one of the world’s most well-known responsible manufacturers of clothing and sports equipment, will list products on Lamoda.

Over 70 different kinds of Patagonia products in the categories of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories for climbers, tourists and all outdoor enthusiasts will be featured as part of the new launch. In total, more than 30 brands and 700 trade names are currently presented on the Lamoda platform.

For over 30 years, Patagonia has been striving to minimize its environmental impact and is working to improve the environmental friendliness of the materials it uses in its products: The brand grows organic cotton, uses an innovative fabric dyeing process that significantly reduces the use of water and chemicals and produce less carbon dioxide compared to traditional production processes. The company deducts 1% of all sales to support environmental activities of local activists who expose facilities that harm the environment around the world.
