Stream and shop simultaneously right from the ZALORA app

Singapore: ZALORA, Asia’s online fashion, beauty and lifestyle destination will reveal the pilot episodes of its specially curated shows on its new in-app live stream platform, Z-Live, from 24th June to 30th June. Z-Live launches in conjunction with the ZALORA Big Fashion Sale, allowing audiences to shop while live viewing the programmes.

With the past year’s digital acceleration, live streaming e-commerce has grown rapidly and is estimated to be valued at USD $19 billion in South East Asia by 2023. This can be attributed to stronger connectivity, rising disposable income, growth of ad-supported services and a greater variety of content. According to recent studies, daily online content consumption around the world has soared since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, doubling on average from 3 hours 17 minutes to 6 hours 59 minutes.

Globally, one of the most watched content categories are fashion and Beauty. Shoppable content then provides the means to get the attention of customers in an interactive way, and plays a new role for ecommerce retail. Z-Live is part of the ZALORA customer’s journey, opening up two-way communication between shoppers and brands. By providing a platform for real time interaction between fans and ZALORA, brands have an opportunity to capture shoppers anywhere, anytime, wherever they are.
