GLOBAL FASHION GROUP APPOINTS NEW DAFITI CEO

Leandro Medeiros to lead GFG’s LATAM Business

Global Fashion Group (GFG), the leading online fashion & lifestyle destination in LATAM, SEA and ANZ, announces the appointment of Leandro Medeiros as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dafiti. Leandro will join Dafiti at the start of December, bringing a wealth of industry experience and a proven track record of successful leadership to the business. His arrival is set to boost Dafiti’s vision to establish itself as the brand of brands and bring fashion from around the world to everyone.

 

With over 25 years of experience, Leandro is a seasoned executive with profound commercial experience at leading global consumer companies. His impressive track record has seen him consistently drive growth and successfully navigate complex business transformations across diverse industries and geographical landscapes –  both in Brazil and internationally. As the CEO of Dafiti, Leandro will spearhead the execution of Dafiti’s strategy to drive growth and profitability, with emphasis on enhancing the assortment and elevating the customer experience and marketing efforts.

 

Leandro is joining Dafiti from Alpargatas Group, having most recently held the position of Business Unit President, overseeing Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and Oceania. Within the same group, he has also held other leadership positions, including CEO of fashion brands Osklen and Mizuno, with other Group-level responsibilities across Digital Channels, M&A, Corporate Strategy, Business and Category Development. Prior to his role at Alpargatas, Leandro held senior positions at renowned global consumer giants, including Nestle, Diageo, and ABI (Ambev).
