Felipe Garcia Alvarez to lead GFG’s SEA Business

Luxembourg, 7 July 2025 – Global Fashion Group (“GFG” or the “Group”), the leading online fashion and lifestyle destination in LATAM, SEA and ANZ, announces the appointment of Felipe Garcia Alvarez as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ZALORA. Felipe will join ZALORA at the start of September, bringing a wealth of industry experience and a proven track record of successful leadership to the business.

With over twenty years of experience, Felipe is a seasoned executive with experience across Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East as well as deep expertise in e-commerce, digital transformation, and fashion. Previous roles include CEO of Namshi (post GFG sale to Emaar Malls), Lazada as Executive VP of Fashion based in Singapore, and four years at Amazon, initially establishing the first EU centralized category team for consumer operations before leading the UK Fashion Division. His track record of driving profitable growth and navigating business transformations in the e-commerce fashion and retail space, across diverse regions will serve ZALORA well as we continue our transformation journey.
