GLOBAL FASHION GROUP APPOINTS VICTOR HERRERO TO THE BOARD

Fashion industry veteran brings substantial global experience in fashion, retail and sustainability to GFG

Luxembourg, 5th March 2019: Global Fashion Group (GFG), the leading fashion & lifestyle destination in growth markets, today announces the appointment of Victor Herrero to its Board as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee.

Most recently, Victor was the CEO of GUESS?, one of the most recognised global lifestyle brands. Prior to this role, Victor was Head of Asia Pacific at Inditex Group, the world’s largest fashion retailer with brands including Zara, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear, Bershka, and Stradivarius, where he spent more than 12 years.

With over fifteen years of industry experience, across some of the most renowned fashion and lifestyle brands and in some of the world’s biggest fashion markets, Victor brings a deep understanding of the global fashion industry, to GFG. In his career, Victor has focused on developing and implementing market entry and expansion strategies, and on innovation through digital enhancement, including the use of key emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality – bringing further experience and new ways of understanding customer insights, to GFG.
